Earnings - how much will I make from each sale?

Selling on ArtStation requires a Pro account. If you cancel your Pro account or it lapses without you renewing, your products will still continue to sell, but your earnings will be less. See below.

Selling on ArtStation.com

When your product sells on the main ArtStation.com website, whether on the marketplace or your artist profile:

  • Pro Members: 80%. You keep 80% from each sale if you are a Pro member at the time of the sale.
  • Free Members: 70%. If you are not a Pro member at the time of the sale (i.e. if your Pro account lapses or you cancel), your products will continue to sell and you'll get 70% of the sale.

ArtStation's minimum fee is 50 cents.

Selling on your ArtStation-powered website

When selling via your ArtStation-powered website:

  • Pro Members: 95%. You keep 95% from each sale if you are a Pro member at the time of the sale.
  • Free Members: 70%. If you are not a Pro member at the time of the sale (i.e. if your Pro account lapses or you cancel), your products will continue to sell and you'll get 70% of the sale.

ArtStation's minimum fee is 50 cents.

I'm confused, what is my ArtStation-powered website?

Every artist on ArtStation is given a free portfolio website to showcase your work (and only your work) to recruiters and clients without the distraction of the community and the potential for your clients/customers clicking to other competing artists.

Why are there two fee structures?

On ArtStation.com (the community), it's assumed that we (ArtStation) are doing the work of driving traffic to you and your products. The entire platform is set up as a marketplace, where users can discover you, your work and buy your products.

On your ArtStation-powered website (username.artstation.com or a custom domain that you attach), it's assumed that you are bringing your own traffic.

Pro members get the benefit of a lower fee structure.
