General FAQ For Buyers

Can I purchase prints?

Not yet. Offering prints of the amazing artworks you see on ArtStation is a big, important part of the Marketplace that we are actively working on.

Can I get a refund if it wasn’t what I expected?

Yes. If you are unsatisfied with the product you purchased, we advise you to contact the seller using our messaging system. They may be able to help you set it up or answer any question you may have about the product.

Nevertheless, if you are still unhappy with your purchase after contacting the seller, you may be eligible for a refund. Please remember that you can only ask for a refund within 7 days after your purchase. Contact support@artstation.com

Can I use my purchase for commercial purposes?

What you can (and cannot do) with your purchase is defined by the End User License Agreement (EULA), and is different from one product to another.

The seller has put some terms in product description that aren't the same as the actual license, which is correct?

If the seller adds usage restrictions in the product that are contrary to what is in the license agreement, the license agreement takes precedence.

E.g. if the product description says "For personal use only, no commercial use allowed", and it uses the Standard License Agreement, which does allow some commercial use, the Standard License Agreement takes precedence.

All sellers are required to select an appropriate EULA or providing their own when entering product information.

Can I buy someone a gift?

At this time, there is no simple way to purchase a gift for someone.

How can I get notified on hot new products to purchase?

Popular products will be added to the daily digest in addition to Trending projects and Blogs. We will also soon offer notifications from artists you follow when a new product is uploaded or updated.

Do I need an ArtStation account to make a purchase?

Yes. If you don’t have an account, you will be prompted to sign up before your purchase. We do not send the files via email. The files you purchase will be available in your Library and you will need an ArtStation account to access them.

Where can I download my invoice/receipt?

Your orders can be seen on your Order History page.

If the artist updates a tutorial, will I have access to it?

Yes

Why was I billed more than the listed price?

Our prices are all in US dollars. It may be possible that during the exchange to your local currency, your bank or credit card company charged a currency exchange fee. You should check with your financial institution for more information. This is out of our control.

Why can’t I download my products?

Your digital purchase should be available in your Library. After a successful purchase, if they do not appear in your Library or the download link is not working, please contact us at support@artstation.com.

What payment methods can I use to make my purchase?

We currently accept payments through PayPal or Credit Card.

Will I be charged tax?

Yes. All products available on ArtStation are subject to sales taxes, depending on where you reside. Taxes will be added when checking out, after you have entered your billing address. Don’t worry, you will have a chance to review your order (including taxes), before entering your payment details.

Where can I enter my VAT number?

During the checkout, there is a text field where you can enter your VAT.

Your VAT will then show up on your invoice.
